Today was my first day back in the pool after my back injury and I was so happy to finally get in the water! I had to take it really slowly but I completed a pretty good workout for my first time with this injury. I could feel my right side of my lower back stretch and pull as I did the freestyle, and I'm not doing any flip turns.
I was really afraid of going back to it because if I hurt my back and had shooting pain, I just imagined me in the water going "Blub...blub" and that would be the end of that.
But, as Dory from Finding Nemo would say "Just Keep Swimming."
